Congratulations to the Boaz varsity girls basketball team. Over the weekend they captured the Marshall county championship. I myself had no doubts that this team would bring home that huge trophy. Great job ladies, we’ll be cheering for you all the way to Birmingham!

It’s snowing…in Alabama! I really can’t remember the last time we had any significant snow, and it’s probably not going to last very long. I’m going to enjoy it while I can because it sure is beautiful.
